Apple Camp and Apple Youth Workshops for Families: (Short Pump, RVA) FREE 3 day session for kids 8-12 to learn about iMovie and how to make their own movies. Apple also offers Youth Workshops for Families with kids (ages 6 to 13) where you can learn how to compose a song, build a photo album, create a compelling presentation, and more.

Bass Pro Shops Family Workshops: (RVA) FREE camps are every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday starting at noon including crafts, shooting gallery, casting pond, family workshops, campfire s’mores, photo, and merit badge workshops–all FREE! Please note that not all activities are available at all Bass Pro Shops.

Free Yoga Classes At Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (Richmond) – FREE outdoor classes on 10 select Saturdays from June to October on the VMFA’s beautifully landscaped Belvedere Deck (located above the Sculpture Garden). Classes are open to all levels, beginner-appropriate and family-friendly!!!

Governor’s Home Tours. FREE 30-minute tours are available of the Executive Mansion Tuesdays through Thursdays.  No reservations necessary,  except for groups of 10 or more.

Hanover Courthouse Tours The Hanover Historical Society offers free Open House tours of the historic Hanover Courthouse on the second Tuesday of each month between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No reservations are required.
